He's a "real" boy now--11.5 weeks old, adjusted age, 1 day. Thinking back on all we've been through, I can't believe I would have been pregnant that whole time! It seems like FOREVER since we've had Jack in our family (sorry, Laura, I'm sure these last 7 weeks of your pregnancy will just fly by).
We spent his due date with the very pregnant Aunt Laura, who will be his babysitter when I go back to work in January. Jack's cousin, Grace, will be here in November and they will be the best of friends (and probably the same size when she arrives). Jack also met Laura & Ryan's dog, Ollie, who was naively curious and has no idea the adventures in store for him with Jack & Grace. We ate lunch and shopped and Jack had a poop explosion in Kohl's and his first changing in a public restroom. We also had a little photo session, as Jack and I coordinated in our fall colors.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures. I can't believe you haven't switched babies. Jack, you are beautiful!!
I bet your Grammie and Uncle Ezra are thrilled to see you.
I tried the scratch and sniff, but I have to confess it just smelled like a dusty computer, so I'll just have to see for myself in person next week.
The pictures are great. Keep up the good work Mom and Dad. Grammie and Uncle Ezra, have a wonderful visit.
Love,
(your favorite) Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kevin
I much prefer hanging out with Jack than waiting for him. Happy belated birthday to the adorablest little engine that could.

He's so cute. I had so much fun during our outing Sat. Jack was easily the best behaved child in the restaurant.
Oh my gosh.. do you believe it's been 11 weeks?? Isn't it strange that now he's here.. you can't imagine life without him?
Aunt Laura will be the bestest baby sitter in the whole wide world, after all, she practiced on my kids.
Hey Jack, in that first picture.. you look like a little man ordering something at the tavern. "Hey Tarbender.. your finest breast milk, my good man."
Have a great visit with Grammie and Uncle Ezra. That has to be so exciting to spend time with him not in a hospital setting. Give him lots of kisses, Grammie!!!
Donna and Soren?.. enjoy your time with your Mom and brother.
Love you guys!
