Boo!

Happy Halloween! Those of you who have spent time with Jack know that this is a very appropriate costume :-)

Jack's doctor's appointment went very well. He weighs 9lbs 13oz and is almost 22 inches long. He got 3 shots, which weren't fun, but he's a pretty tough little guy after all he went through in the NICU. He didn't hold a grudge very long. The doctor classified his hemangioma (the red mark on his head) as "small to moderate" and said she would expect it to perhaps get a little bigger, but significantly reduce and flatten out by the time he's 6 to 9 months old. It's still nothing to worry about. Other than that, he's eating well, sleeping well, developmentally on track (somewhere in between a 2 month old and a 4 month old), and a very gassy little boy.

Happy Halloween my Little Woopie Cushion! Your Mom is right, this costume is very appropriate for you. You can be a very 'stinky' little boy sometimes. However, we just giggle and excuse you. You are so adorable no matter what you are doing! I am looking forward to seeing you and your Mommy at Aunt Laura's house tomorrow. Perhaps you can coax Aunt Laura to have a Halloween Baby! Wouldn't that be great?!

Happy Halloween, you guys! I absolutely love the costume! Personally, I wouldn't know how appropriate the costume is.. as he's always been a little gentleman in my presence.

Holy cow.. from under two pounds to Nine Pounds!! That's fantastic. Hope you guys have a great first Halloween!!

love you!

DCFS reports that dressing babies up in Whoopie Cushion costumes is the leading cause of them being sat on for hilarious enjoyment.

Have fun and be safe.

P.S. Carefully inspect ALL of Jack's candy before he goes to town please.
