We have safely returned from our wonderful trip to Wisconsin. THANK YOU to our favorite Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kevin for the hospitatlity, use of your toys, and a wonderful time! here's our trip in pics:
As promised, coffee and Jack's morning bottle by the lake
Hanging out with Aunt Nancy
Jack and Grace all set up in their vacation house, and their view of the bunkhouse and the Lake

Nick, Ryan and Soren off to fish.
According to all the fishermen (I'm not one of them), it was a great week for fishing and they caught plenty for an awesome fish fry. It was more of an "everything" fry. Thanks to Nick, Ryan and a giant deep fryer, we had fried fish, onions, mushrooms, perogies, and candy bars. Yes, there were fried candy bars. I didn't partake, but heard they were good. Grandpa also grilled fantastic steaks for everyone on Sunday night. Yaay for vacation food! Jack enjoyed lots of juicy melons, cheese on toast, and lots of crackers. He has two bottom teeth and is doing pretty well with the "people" food.
Jack and Grace slathered in bug spray and suntan lotion, chillin' by the Lake.
Jack's first boat ride
Trying to get Grandpa's hat. He also loves to grab glasses off people's faces. He'll trick them with a cute smile, and they think he's coming in for a cuddle, but then...SWIPE....the glasses are in his sticky little paws and shortly in his mouth.
We went to Hayward (nearby town), where Jack built a moose. It was a northern Wisconsin version of a "Build a Bear" store. We made a wish on a plastic star, put it inside and stuffed the moose. Jack was pretty indifferent to the whole process, as he just woke up from a car ride snooze, but now he has a super soft stuffed moose.
Enjoying a bedtime story with Laura and Grace
Our last night, Grandma and Aunt Nancy were kind enough to babysit so we could enjoy a night time pontoon boat ("booze") cruise with Laura and Ryan. We had dinner and drinks at a few bars on the lake, and managed to stay up past midnight---woo hoo!

And, of course, we stopped at the Cheese Chalet on the way home. Curds. Yum.
Our next trip is with Grammie to Maine in September! We can't wait!!
