There is a perfectly good explanation. Nana bought a water activity table, and safely wrapped him in a plastic bag, so he wouldn't get wet. Then, to help Nana rake the yard, he demanded the gloves on.
The plastic bag was upgraded to a raincoat when it got a little chilly out, but this table is going to provide hours of summer fun. Nana bought raincoats for Jack and Grace when they were a few months old, and has been waiting patiently to use them.
Needless to say, he is pretty bored at our house in comparison and requests to go to Nana and Papa's daily. At our house? He can now climb the dining room chairs. Having the higher table prolonged the inevitable, but it's one less safe haven for our stuff.

Thanks for the update. I heard about the water table, but couldn't imagine what it looked like. It will certainly provide hours of fun this summer.
