It's MY Blog! MINE! MINE!

As if on cue for the arrival of a sibling, everything in Jackson's world has become "mine, MINE, MINE!!" Welcome to the world of the two year old.

We were fully immersed in that world today, as we joined hundreds of clones of ourselves in Union, IL, at the Railway Museum for a "Day out with Thomas the Train." We got there early to be on the first train ride of the day. This worked out great, because it rained this afternoon. I wish we got better pictures, but Jack really loved it. It included a ride on the the "real" Thomas the train, Thomas music, characters and paraphenelia everywhere. It was a stroller circus, and we were very lucky to have an overcast morning, with a nice breeze. It might have been less pleasant in 90 degree sun.

A few videos of us helping "wake Thomas up" for the first ride of the day.

We stopped at the outlet mall on the way home to get Jack some fall clothes. Even though we are getting quite a generous lot from Grace, I just couldn't help but buy a few pink ruffled things for Boo. Girly clothes are just fun to buy...and fun to look at hanging in the closet, awaiting their owner.

It sounds like quite a zoo, but it looks like Jack had fun.
I agree with you that girls' clothes are much more fun than boys'.
Hope you are feeling well. Glad to hear that the weather was cool enough in the morning for you. I can't imagine standing in lines with a bunch of screeming two year olds in 90 degree weather.
Thanks for the update.
Love to all . . .
