You'll notice my typical red wall background is now a shade of beige-ish ("rice grain," to be exact). We have handed over the decorating of our house to two crazed realtors determined to sell it before Boo's arrival, and working their butts of for their commission. Here is our new and improved "staged" condo.
Don't you want to buy it now? Don't you? The tree above the couch will surely be the selling point for somebody out there, right? The fake fruit on the table? The perfectly placed "Pottery Barn" catalog for sure. Sorry...staging a house 8 months pregnant with a 2-year old has driven me to this sarcasm, as my favorite chair and many of Jack's toys are now held hostage in the attic. Not to mention the fleet of painters, carpenters and electricians that have invaded over the last week. However, they did do a good job.
And finally, I leave you with a performance from our little rock star big brother to-be. The Black Eyed Peas provided his inspiration this evening:

She's looking fabulous. And you, Ms. Donna??.. are absolutely ADORABLE!!! I've never looked that cute.. NOT PREGNANT.. let alone how beautiful you look in your present state.
I love your little Rock Star too!!!
Love you, hope to see you soon!
If your blood pressure could withstand all that commotion in the house, I think Ms. Boo will be just fine! So glad to hear!
That "rice" color looks familiar... oh wait, it's the color we were advised to add to our home too! ;) Hopefully it works soon for both of us. Glad to hear that all is going well with your two little ones!!
What? WHAT??!!! RICE GRAIN. . . I just spent $1,500 painting my place Interactive Creame and the bathroom Bagel!!!! How come nobody let me in on the secret?? I think your place looks beautiful. I have faith that it will sell real soon. May I borrow your Pottery Barn magazine when you are done with it? I am sure that it will be the finishing touch on my table. Baby Boo is looking awesome. Won't be long until our Little Jack becomes a big brother! God Bless you all!
