Happy Halloween!

We started the day with Jackson's very first school performance. He's the Batman next to the banana (poor banana...do you think he asked to be a banana? the rest of the boys were superheros and pirates and whatnot). I present OP Senior Preschool singing a Halloween song:

Maddie the pumpkin princess being adorable

A very threatening Batman. He actually selected a transformers costume a month ago that he wore and played in so many times, he opted for last year's Batman costume instead. After school we went to Costco (in costume) and he was thrilled when the guy there thanked him for keeping us all safe.

Jack wasn't so crazy about trick or treating. He went to a few houses, but is still a little afraid of any halloween decorations that may potentially talk, make noise or move. This limited our options for houses. Our little Dorothy was into it, and perfected her "twicks tweets!" and "tank you!" It made me both proud of my kids..and a little sad..when people were pleasantly shocked the the "tank you." Really? I'm the farthest thing from mother of the year, but I would hope "thank you" would be a lesson before "gimme candy, stranger."

HAPPY HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
