All moved in

Our new roommate is all settled and we are getting along quite well. Jack had his first doctor appointment on Monday and weighed in at 4 lbs 10 oz. We succuessfully grew him 3 ounces since leaving the hospital. He's eating very well, so we're hoping for another big gain by his appointment next Tuesday. He's having some reflux issues, but nothing too bad (or much different than any full term baby). We just try to keep him slightly propped up most of the time instead of flat on his back (except when taking pictures like the one above).

Nothing too exciting to report...although we just stare at him in amazement most of the day and night. I've found that we will assume our normal positions on the couch in front of the TV, only it rarely gets turned on. We just watch Jack and discuss his every move, squeak and facial expression. Not a bad show.
Live now from 4546 N. Greenview (including "live" pictures): Jack just moved (with some assistance) from napping on mom's shoulder to the bouncer chair on the couch. He kind of smells like fresh poo. He's enjoying the fresh air from the open windows and making happy noises. While typing, mom just grabbed Jack's leftover bottle instead of her coffee and got it almost to her mouth before realizing it. Stay tuned for the next epsiode :-)

If we figure out the stroller, we may introduce him to the outdoors today.
Love, Donna, Soren & Jack

Hi Guys,
I am so happy that you put a new post up!! I was beginning to feel out of the loop. I have been thinking about Jack so much lately that he made appearances in my dreams both last night and the night before...it's not creepy, I swear.
I am glad to see that you guys are having fun at home. And congratulations for growing him well.
I will be checking back often, so update if possible!

Yea!! an update! I was starting to worry a little.

Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun. You're right.. who needs television when you have a baby.. right?

LOVE..LOVE.. LOVE.. the pictures! You need to get Laura to start a blog for her last few weeks of her pregnancy.. so she can update us on the delivery and all the details there. Then.. you can put a link on your blog.. so I can check them both at the same time. Ok? So.. in your spare time.. when you're not staring at the baby, or drinking from his bottle.. work on that.. will ya?

Is Jack is too little for the jogging stroller?.. or is he in a regular stroller? You have to take a picture, please!!!

I love that you're holding him all the time. Don't let anyone tell you you're spoiling him, or to let him cry.
Remember, people will want to tell you how to raise him all the time. Just smile and nod.. and know that only you and Soren know him best, and understand his needs and wants.

Love you guys!

I LOVE YOU baby Jack. I was talking to baby Molly about you baby Jack and she says "Hi". Then she said "Hi , high, hi hi, high eye, and hi" (she's really into salutations and welcoming people right now). We hope to see you again soon. Keep growing like a good boy, and mama will take you to Chuck-E-Cheese.... someday.

LOVE and KISSES and LOVE-

Your favorite Godmother
