We attempted to give him a bottle for the first time on Friday. He has the sucking part down okay, but got a mouthful and just kind of looked confused. Most things worth learning start with confusion. He will catch on. We will keep trying each time he is awake enough when it is time to eat (which is not that frequent). We keep having to remind ourselves that although he's over 6 weeks old, he's not suppose to be here yet and he is technically -5 weeks old.
A little male bonding from this week...

Hi Jack,
I am so impressed- you are thriving and look so content. Your sweet little face is always with me.
You are a lot like me- I too absorb every little calorie !!!
Don't worry too much about this bottle thing. They wont give up on you. When you get it youll never forget it!!! I cant remember how many muscles it takes to actually get the milk from lips to tummy but its a lot-- So don't stress just enjoy all the attention.
Your new pictures are fantastic.
Good choice of photo partners. They are all smart, witty and good looking-- You couldnt pick a better gene pool. AND with Brian,s added devotion (never leaving your side) You will be the master of the bottle and home before you know it.
sweet dreams
love grammie and grandpa
Hey there, Culver Family!
Love the new pictures. He'll be hittin' the bottle with his male role models in no time at all.
