Sleepy little ball o' baby

Updates two days in a row! Exhausted from a trip to Home Depot this afternoon, here's Jack enjoying "tummy time" on his fancy play mat. One day soon, he'll appreciate the half hour it took me to put it together. Don't you wish you could sleep that soundly? Can't you just hear him snoring? I know, I know, the rules say they have to sleep on their backs, but this was supervised sleeping...please...no calling DCFS.

This is a fantastic blog post.

It's fine if every update doesn't include a major medical milestone. An excruciatingly cute photo and a few words every couple days is fine. I love this post and I live just a couple miles away, so I'm positive the out-of-town relatives and friends appreciate it.

Keep up the great work, everyone.

Hi Jack

I just love to watch you sleep. You could be the poster baby for Sleepy's. I like your fancy play mat. You will have many fun filled hours discovering all the shiny bright objects that "fly" above you.

We had a wonderful party for Piper and of course we talked about you and your mom and dad. All wonderful things of course -like what a great parents they are, and what a beautiful bundle of joy you are. Piper and Gannon enjoyed uncle Bob but still are not sure how your dad is uncle Erik's Brother We showed Piper a picture of your dad, Ezra and Erik playing in the yard, when you dad was 2. Piper pointed to your dad and said "there is my brother" And there is a sight resemblence!

Today, sweet boy, you are 15 weeks old. You have come a long way.
Everyone is proud of you, and your parents for a job well done.
Happy Birthday and
Sweet dreams.
love,
Grammie

Wow.. two in one week. I do feel lucky. (Thanks a lot John for making me feel guilty, I was the ignorant person that complained she hadn't updated in a long time!.. Sorry Donna, ((hanging my head in shame)). You, of course do an excellent job, and I understand that you can't post all the time, when you have someone so adorable to look after. I love the play mat, and he will too, once he flips over. You have to show him that all the exciting stuff is in the other direction.. but let's face it.. sleep is a WONDERFUL thing if you ask me.

I loved spending time with the both of you of Saturday. He is adorable.. and makes the cutest and funniest expressions! Hugs to Soren, who is doing a fabulous job.. oh and I guess to you too, Donna. (You know I'm just teasing.. you are such a natural!!)

Love you,
G.A.C.
