Jack is 7 months old today--how time flies! He has found his thumb, which comes in handy for a guy who doesn't yet have the dexterity to reclaim a fallen pacifier.
He also likes to watch TV..a habit we're not so sure of.

I suppose it's no different than any other flashing noisy toy at this point....right? We try to limit it, and of course have a lot of interactive play time; but it is nice that he'll chill out and watch a movie with us on a Sunday afternoon. As soon as spring rolls around, we'll make sure he gets outside to play and doesn't become a thumb-sucking couch potato :-)

Wow.. 7 Months!! Where does the time go. I just have one comment today.. Just what is wrong with a thumb sucking couch potato??..
I have many a good friend that happen to be fine.. fine potatoes. Some of them may suck their thumbs.. others just may suck. I would take a thumb sucker.. over someone that just plain sucks.. any day of the week. At least the thumb seekers have some ambition. And that is all I have to say about that.
Hey.. the new format is lovely, by the way. Love the picture of Dad and Jackson...
Hugs to all of you, and Happy Birthday to your Grandma Glynn this week!!!
Oh..here is my favorite potato comment.
"When you were a kid, did you have potato races at your birthday parties?"
"We tried.. we whipped them and whipped them until their eyes watered but they just wouldn't race."........

I love love LOVE the thumb-sucking picture for two reasons. I know that this sounds so silly, however, being a 'lefty' myself, there is something endearing about the fact that right now, you seem to be favoring your LEFT hand! Tee-hee-hee! Also, Jack, I will let you in on a little secret, I sucked my thumb until I was around 7 years old! No big whoop! Just one more thing to bond you an me together! Kisses and Hugs to you my Handsome Little Guy! Love Grandma
It appears that little Jack takes after his father. Love that picture.
Jack seems perfectly content with his thumb. That should make things easier as he tries to calm himself down because you're not moving fast enough to feeding him.
He looks great - my how seven months have flown by!
Take care,
Hi Jack
I didn't forget you I have been buzy since I saw You last.
We closed on our Bloomington house and I finally feel at home here in Hurley.
Happy 7th Month Birthday. You have come a long way. What a wonderful accomplishment to be able to keep that thumb in your mouth. You got it there several times when I visited with you. I told you, you'd perfect the act and now you are a pro!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aunt Cory is right about thumb sucking!!!
I am so happy to tell you -I got Easter week off so we will have lots of time to play and get to know each other again.
Grandpa is really looking forward to seeing you.
We got your thank you note. We are impressed at how mannerly you are,
and glad you are looking forward to visiting.
Give grandma Glynn a birthday hug.
Enjoy sundays movie and give hugs to mom and dad.
Sweet dreams
Love Grammie
