Faces pressed against glass, fingers pointed, this was repeated over and over on Saturday when we took Grace and Jackson to the aquarium. Flash photography is not allowed, but we did get some short videos. Jack was pretty impressed with the fish... and just as impressed with lunch, the other kids, the gift shop and his souvenir turtle.
I thought he and the turtle had a similar look about them first thing in the morning...

He is a silly boy and gets more entertaining every day. I present Jackson Thomas Culver in the short videos, "It's Not a Hat" and "The Little Wiggle Dance"

Quit stifling the kid's creative expression, Donna ... when I babysit, cookies can be hats and mashed potatoes can be fingerpaint. Whatever Jack wants.
Love the turtle photo.

Jack, you are too cute! I love that your sense of humor is developing. You remind me so much of your Uncle John! I love the look on your face when you cannot find the cookie and are pulling your own hair. Too funny! And just remember, ONLY when Uncle John is babysitting can you use your mashed potatoes as fingerpaint! Then you and he can have a fun tubby time! Kisses and Hugs to you!
Donna and Soren.. your Jackson is so cute!! I love that he is clever enough to make his cookie disappear.. and in it's place.. is a hat.. that mysteriously resembles a cookie. I don't know if it's a slight of hand thing.. or what, but he is amazing. I love the videos of him dancing and at the aquarium as well. Aren't kids wonderful? However did you spend your time before you had him? You get such an infinite amount of joy and laughter looking at life through the eyes of your little one. Aren't they incredibly entertaining?
Love you guys!
