Easter mug shot

It looks like this picture might come with a ransom note from E. Bunny, doesn't it? It was a moderately successful visit with the Bunny. We happily watched him from a distance for a while, and gladly shook his hand. Jack didn't scream when he was put on his lap, but this brief look of panic was all we got before he climbed down. His pal Grace didn't fair as well. They'll try another bunny, another day. Both Jack and Grace had more fun in the play area of the mall, running with the other kids, learning how to wait their turn at the slide (sort of), and realizing that a little push to the kid in front of them makes it their turn a little sooner.

Jack was a little under the weather this week, so we took him to his doctor on Friday just to avoid a potential weekend ER visit if he got worse. He had a fever earlier in the week and was a pretty pathetic pile of whiney mucus. However, he managed to repeat his full name to the doctor through all the snot and drool, "Yackon Culber." Cute, but sad. He got some antibiotics for a slight ear infection was much better by Saturday. We now have the amoxocillin wars twice a day. He used to be very good at taking medicine, but this requires some wrestling and ends with pink sticky medicine all over both of us. I think he might be declared healthy before the 10 days are up, but we'll do what we can.

Here's a video of Jack blowing bubbles from when Grammie was here. Watch closely at the end.

I'd have a look of panic on my face too if I had to sit on that lap. Jack did a great job!
Jack also did a "good job" with the bubbles until the very end.
I love to hear Jack repeat everything being said to him. You can tell he's heard "good job" before because he had that one down pat.
Thanks for the update . . .
