Gracie pulling Jackson in his new sled
Nana reading "The Night Before Christmas" at the end of the night. It started all picturesque with a kid on each knee. Grace escaped and Jack got a little distracted. However, reading it aloud got Nana all choked up, so it was worth it.
And then, the magic of Santa...
I think Santa did a pretty good job, for being a rookie. All the gifts and "Chwistmas Tweats" (Kit Kats and Reeses, favorites noted from Halloween) were a big hit.
He would bring me the Reese's two at a time, "You wanna open up anudder wed one and a gween one, so I can eat them all gone?"
He took his time opening gifts and playing with each one, and seemed genuinely surprised each time I told him there was another present for him from Santa.
As for for Miss Maddie, she provided us with the biggest Christmas miracle of all. She has slept through the night the past three nights. Wahoo! The little munchkin will be promoted to her very own bedroom if she keeps this up.
Last night, Jackson was all wound up (he was still eating brownies and truffles about 9pm) and talking to himself in his bed. Listening to him on the monitor, I could hear him talking about his day. He went on for about a half hour, naming everyone he'd seen, what he'd eaten, and the gifts he received. He even threw in a "Happy Birthday, Jesus" which I was very proud of. He had a wonderful Christmas!

Oh my gosh.. a perfect Christmas indeed!! Don't you wish you had taped his conversation at bedtime about his day? So wonderful! You are truly blessed as we all are. Your babies are so beautiful and healthy and for that we are truly thankful. Loved seeing you, and Soren at Aunt Sherrys. Nana sure does love those babies!!! Happy Belated Birthday to Papa.
Love you guys!
