Take me out to the Ballgame & Maddie's sweet ride

We went to the Joliet Jackhammers baseball game this week. For as much as a 3-year old and 10-month old will be entertained by a baseball game, it was a great idea. There are grassy areas to sit and eat hot dogs (my favorite part of the game), and there was a lot for the kids to do. Aside from the mascot antics during the game, there was jumping castle and a toddler sized "batting cage."

Singing "Take me out to the Ballgame," Jack says "buy me some peanuts and Cracker Me's" (Cracker Jacks, get it? I thought it was pretty darn funny)

Thank, you, Aunt Eileen for the car and the water table. Maddie LOVES her new ride. Buckled in, she pulls herself up on to a standing position, holding on to the the steering wheel, and says "go go go." It will see many many strolls around the neighborhood.

Maddie playing "dumpster-diving baby" in a box of mismatched accessories. She looks like a cute, crazy little hobo (or housing deficient American?) Whatever the politically correct term is, she looks like she should have a flask in her hand.

I'm so sorry Donna.. I've not visited in quite a while, but I've just caught up.. and oh my goodness, you will not regret a single second spent on taking, posting photos, and updating your blog. I loved the game on the iPhone, and the hot dog at the ball game.. and the little hobo in the box.. and her trying to get the binky out of her car seat.. and all of Long Lake.. etc. You do a fabulous job.. and I am so thankful to be able to catch up with you.. via your writings.
Love you bunches!
