We hosted a Labor Day bbq, but really only provided the venue. Our guests provided all the fun for the best bbq three year-olds can imagine. Laura and Ryan brought a bounce house (which Laura enjoyed as well).
Kick-off to football season--more importantly, Saturdays where I get to dress the kids in their ND gear

And now, bring on the fall! Crisp mornings and changing leaves--my favorite. Grammie and Grandpa are coming to visit the first week in October for Maddie's 1st birthday. ONE year old! She'll, of course, get a dedicated post for this. Our little peanut baby girl...a teething, climbing, hugging, standing, two-stepping, ONE year old ball of pure cuteness.
Uncle John P brought all the equipment to set up a movie in the back yard. So we all got to enjoy "A Bug's Life" at our very own outdoor viewing. So cool. You better come prepared every time now, John. The bar has been set.

The photo shoot was followed by dinner at Athena in Greektown. We love this place and especially love the outdoor seating. With the all the people in the background, this picture has a bit of a "last supper" look about it, doesn't it?

Yea!!! Looks like you had the perfect farewell to summer! Wow.. an outdoor theater?? and a bounce house???... When I come back in my next life,I want to be one of the Culver/Schirz kids! Hope to see you soon!
