Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve at Laura & Ryan's. The kids were all healthy, played well, and went to bed without complaints. This is always a gamble. Jackson and Grace stayed up pretty late talking. It's so fun to watch and listen to them on the video monitor. At one point, they were out of bed, having a tea party. Laura went upstairs to remind them it was bed time. I watched on the monitor and as they heard her coming up the stairs they scurried back to their beds and started fake snoring. So cute. They had a fun sleepover.

And here's what it looked like in the basement after the kiddos were in bed. A few games of Catch Phrase, and we managed to stay up well past midnight. We're still cool sometimes :-)
