My Hero

BatJack in his new pajamas
He is constantly in character--Batman, Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, and a new favorite, Darth Vader (in a Spiderman t-shirt...DarthSpiderJack?)

Our sometimes hero/sometimes villan had his first day of preschool last week! We are easing into it. It's one hour a week. I was a little anxious, as this was the first time we were "leaving" him in the hands of a stranger. I hardly left, as I waited for him in the next room, but he did awesome. He was completely fine with me leaving, jumped right in to the activities in the room and introduced himself to the other kids. After class, the teacher even complimented his good manners (saying "please" and "thank you"). Yaay Jackson!

"Jackson, it's your first day of school! Say 'cheese' with Mommy." Or not. Whatever. I'm capturing the moment anyway
He was all smiles once we got to school.

Our little 1lb 12oz miracle...is now a student....

Oh my goodness, when does that boy get some down time? First, he is fighting crime as Batman, then has to portray the evil Darth Vader, next, he's to be a Space Ranger, now school, and have tea parties well into the night?? I know you want him to succeed, but C'mon...he's just a boy!
